Base HRM - Leave: How to set up and run seniority leave in

You can access HRM by selecting the HRM icon in the application list, or by accessing the  link https://hrm.base.vn/ 

  • Step 1 : Go to HRM >> Leave

  • Step 2 : In the leave policy that needs to set up seniority leave, select ".."  > Bonus leave based on seniority.

  • Step 3  : Select "Method of calculating seniority" - Basic/Advanced/According to Labor Law

Basic " method : Employees will be granted leave once a year, provided that their seniority is greater than or equal to the set milestones.

How to set up: You fill in the columns fan nien from...plus...For example , with the above settings, assuming the HR officially starts from October 25, 2020:

October 25, 2025 , employee has 60 months of seniority -> Add 1 seniority leave

January 1, 2026 , the next year, the system scans again -> NS meets the 60-month seniority milestone -> Add 1 seniority leave.

-  January 1, 2027 , similarly, Add 1 seniority leave

....

On January 1, 2031, NS has met the 120-month seniority milestone -> Add 2 seniority leaves.


Advanced "  method : Employees are given seniority on the exact day they complete the number of months according to the set milestones.

How to set up: You fill in the Seniority columns from ..... for each ..... add.... 

For example , with the above settings:
- Seniority from 60 months, every 12 months, add 1 day

- Seniority from 120 months, every 12 months, add 2 days

If an employee officially starts from October 1, 2020:

October 1, 2025 , NS has 60 months of seniority (5 years) -> Add 1 seniority leave

October 1, 2026, add 12 months -> Add 1 seniority leave

...

 October 1, 2030 , NS has 120 months of seniority (10 years) -> Add 2 seniority leaves

October 1, 2031 , another 12 months -> Add 2 seniority leaves


 Method " According to Labor Law ": Employees whose seniority is added will have their seniority added on the seniority anniversary date and  January 1 so that the total seniority leave added in the year does not exceed the total bonus leave each year. (Based on Article 114 of the 2019 Labor Code) Article 114. Annual leave increases according to seniority

For every 5 years of working for an employer, the number of annual leave days of an employee as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 113 of this Code shall be increased by 1 day accordingly.

Example : The employee starts working from October 15, 2020. Configure seniority calculation from the start date.


Customize seniority milestones and bonus leave numbers 
How to set up: You fill in the Seniority columns from...plus...

Unlike the Basic method , this method is NOT  limited to adding only 1 spell per year. 

For example:  If configured as shown above, the employee starts working from October 15, 2020. The configuration calculates seniority from the start date.

 Before October 15, 2021 : Personnel are not allowed to add seniority leave

On October 15, 2021 : Staff gets +1 leave (12 months of seniority) 

Suppose there is an error or a change in personnel records on October 15, 2021, so the system does not add the leave, then the system will not add it again)

January 1, 2022 : Employees get +1 leave (12 months < Seniority < 24 months) 

 October 15, 2022: Staff gets +1 leave (24 months of seniority) 

January 1, 2023 : Employees get +2 leave (24 months < Seniority < 36 months) 

October 15, 2023 : Staff gets +4 leave (36 months of seniority)

January 1 of the following years : Employees get +6 leave (36 months < Seniority)
