I. Introduction about Department:

- Department is the higher level of Project/Team, contains all teams/projects manage all goals in the department/team belonging to this department.
- Department can be a Division/Block/Branch according to the company's cross-section, it can be a department in charge of a certain goal of the company, therefore, depending on your needs, you can create a corresponding department.


II. Create a Department

1. Create from the Department tab

Click on “Department” tab => Select “Create Department”:

2. Create from Project & Department tab

Click on “Projects & Teams” tab => Select “Create Department”:

=> Fill in the below information:

  • Department name: Enter Department name

  • Department owners: Tag the name (@username) of the member who is the administrator of the subgroup. The department manager has the right to manage projects/teams (can only view details of projects/teams they participate in) and manage goals in that department.

Note : only System owner and App Admin Wework are authorized to create a Department.

3. Department grouping for projects/departments

Hover on “Option” at the end of each team/project => Select “Quick Edit”

Select the department group created for the department/project, then click Save
